Due to recently amazon's network problem. Our service is having problem to get price from Amazon. We are trying to fix this issue ASAP. In the mean time, no watch job will be created. You can still update or delete old jobs.

We are really sorry about it.

We have a temporary fix for this issue. Now when you add a new job, it won't have the price immediately, instead, it will show as -1. But the price and the item name should be updated in 10 seconds. So you won't notice the different at all. We will keep an eye on the Amazon network and try to find a better way to solve this.

One Year Anniversary!

First year is always hard to new websites. But we made it. And we do save lots of money for our users. More than 20K watch jobs has been created, and nearly 17K emails we sent out. That's a much higher ratio than we expected. It proves that Amazon item's price keep changing all the time.

Dear Users. We are glad to tell you that we have a new version of our application. Version 1.4.0.

We have improved the deals finder. Now you can search by keyword and specify price range. The best part is that you can search items that's shipped by Amazon now.

A new tab for filter items is added, so that it's easy for you to get free shipping from Amazon when you need a bit more. And this list is always up-to-date and always there when you need it.

We also improve the performance of the application and now you can export your queue to a text file. So give it try. If you find anything wrong, please let us know ASAP. We are going to flip the upgrade flag to let all our users know the new version in a couple of weeks.

As we are getting more and more users, we are sending out more and more emails everyday. But there always be a couple of emails rejected. The most possible reason is that the email address is not correct. Some are bogus I can see, but some seems to be real, just has typo. Please double check your email address before you check in a watch job, otherwise you will never get an email when price drop.

Again, we still need your help to bring more friends to use our site. We didn't spend a lot on advertisement, since we focus on funtionality, and we think if it works reliably, more people will use it.

Amazon Sell Wii for a couple of minutes around 10:30

Today, Amazon sold Wii around 10:30 for a very short time. I believe those who watch the price for Wii got the email but don't have a chance to buy it. I am so sorry for that. Wii is just too hot.

One thing I want to mention here is that for those who got the email, you won't get another one if Amazon sell it again. Because the price will be the same, and it won't trigger the email again, unless you change the trigger price to "When available". I was planned to do this manually for all users, but I am not sure if anyone did get one and don't want the email again. So please do it yourself by install the Amazon Price Watch tool. Or you can email us and we can do that for you.

How likely the price may go down in 30 days?

I think most people who shop at Amazon.com will give my website a try. Otherwise, the main reason is that they don't think the price will drop in 30 days. Let me tell you this, I had the same idea before. Until once, I noticed one of my item's price drops in 30 day, I began to watch the price whenever I bought something from Amazon.com. Surprisingly, a large number of items' price drops in 30 days. I get refund 6 times. The total purchases I made since I watch the price is about 20.

According to our system, we sent out one email every four watch jobs. For Electronics, it's more than 1/3. Now you know, it's very useful to watch the price. Cheers~

Recently, we notice that our user number has stop growing, since some watch jobs have expired and those email infos have been removed. For a while, we were thinking maybe we should send a last "thank you" email to these users since they may not get any emails from us. We even have the code ready to push out, but at last, we decide not to do so because we promise that "You will receive an email ONLY if the price drops in 30 days".

Why we are better than other price watch tools?

Obviously, we are not the first one who build this kind of watch tool. But we are the best, let me tell you why:

1. Most important, we work better
    Some one told me that they just do this manually, because he tried other watch tool and they don't work. I don't get the detail for that. One possible reason is that we get the "Hidden" price which shows "Click here to see the price". I tried an item with hidden price on another tool, and I don't get email from them.
    We also check the price EVERY HOUR which is more often than others. Maybe you think there is no need to check so often, but it's not true. Because the price change so often that it may go down and it may go up. When it's down, you can ask for refund, even later the price go up. So the earlier you contact Amazon Customer Service the better. This situation actually happen to me once.

2. It's easier to use
      Some other tools ask you to cut the ASIN out, fill in the price and purchase date. We don't! All we need is just your email and the Detail page link. That's super easy, right?
      If you want it to be easier, install our free Amazon Price Watch tool and use IE to shop at Amazon.com. Your purchased items will be price watched automatically! Now, you may wonder if it's safe to install. I fully understand your concern, so I recommend you to check this page.

3. More powerful
      With our free Amazon price watch tool, you can add, modify time or price, or remove a watch job. You get full control! If you return an item and don't wan to watch the price anymore, you can just remove it. If you want to buy something, but you think the price is too high now. We got the first customer complaint about the price is not right. I am sorry that it cause troubles for some users. Please note that: "According to the policy, Amazon will refund only items sold by Amazon.com, not from third party, so we get the price offered by Amazon.com only. If you tried to watch an item that's not offered by Amazon now, you may get an email if Amazon start offering it."

But anyway, there is possibility that our service make mistake. If you found a bug, please let me know what item your are watching, and when we sent out the email at what price. I love to check and make this web tool better and better.

1. In the almost bottom or right corner, you can see "Subscribe to this blog". You can put your email in and subscribe to this blog. Whenever there is a new blog entry, you will be notified.

2. I put some simple javascript code in the right column under the "Quick Insert" block. It's a simple version of the website interface without those stupid instrction and policy. So, as you can see, it's super easy to have the price watch tool in your blog or your website for your friends. If you want to know how, please let me know and I can provide the javascript code.

3. I add some cheap items in the right column under the "Filter Items" block. If you need a little bit more to get free shipping, they will be handy for you. Hope you like it. But I have to mention here, if you bought just 25 dollars and get free shipping, then you ask for refund because of price drops, Amazon will charge you shipping fee. I know it sounds stupid, but they did that to me. So, please be careful about this.

Hope this place become more and more useful.

What new feature do you want?

Since the site is not open for a long time, a lot of places need improvement. I have plan to:
1. Improve web UI
2. Improve Email message UI
3. Add some Amazon deals? Maybe?
4. Add some cheap filter items so that you can get free shipping when you need less than 1 dollar more.

Hidden Price Check Enabled!

There are some items on Amazon.com with price showing "Click here to see the price". It's because Amazon has some contract with vendor that don't show the price until it's been put into cart.

Before, we can't the the correct price and thought the item is not availabile on Amazon.com. But now, we found a way to get the hidden price, so that you won't get a wrong email for "Amazon offering the price now".
